File: BDBC DUTIES OF SECRETARY The secretary is elected
annually by the committee at the first meeting in January. The
secretary shall oversee the development and maintenance of a permanent
record book, in which all the school committee votes, orders and proceedings
shall be recorded. The secretary
shall sign documents diplomas and correspondence requiring the signature
of the committee's secretary. In the
absence of the secretary at any meeting, the committee shall elect a
