SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEMBER QUALIFICATIONS
A person legally qualified to become a member of the committee is a registered voter of the school district.

No member of the school committee, except the mayor, shall, while a member thereof, hold any other office or position the salary or compensation in the school department of which is payable out of the city treasury.
