Australian Aboriginal art
Students in grades 3 and 2 learned about the life in the Outback, the center of Australia, which is the home of the native people, the Aborigines. Inspired by cave paintings from 18,000 years ago and modern Aboriginal paintings, students drew animals using the x-ray drawing technique. The background was filled with patterns and colored lines in the Aboriginal style.
