Helen Mae Sauter School Our PTO is YOU! Anyone with a child attending our school is automatically a member. When we help the school, no matter how we help, we are a working with the principal and teachers to help make our school a great place for our children to learn and grow. Here are a some things we do through the year : * Give HMS t-shirts to all 1^st graders and new students * Pay for buses for class trips. * Run fundraisers to supply funds to teachers for special needed items. * Provide funds for special people/activities to come into our school. * Sponsor a “Scholastic Book Fair” in November. * Collect “Box Tops for Educations” labels to give the school extra funds and helpful items. * Sponsor a non-profit holiday shopping fair in December for the children. * Run a fall and spring after school program for the enjoyment of the children. * Support the HMS staff in any way possible. * Occasionally pay for a trip to the movie theatre for the whole school. * Run an annual Spring Fair for the enjoyment of the students and their families. * Sponsor a trip to the “Theatre at the Mount” for the whole school. * Host a pasta dinner/family night for all of our students and their families.
