2020 Dog Licenses Available All Gardner residents who keep or own dogs are reminded that 2019 dog licenses expire on March 31, 2020. Dogs are required to be licensed when they attain the age of 6 months and by every March 31 thereafter. 2020 Licenses may be purchased in the City Clerk’s Office, Room 121, City Hall (Mon-Thu 8AM - 4:30PM, Fri 8AM–1PM). Fees are $11.00 for spayed or neutered dogs and $15.00 for unaltered dogs. Proof of alteration must be provided when first licensed and rabies vaccination must be current. Owners may also order a license through the mail. The Mail-in License Application Form is available on the City’s website and found on the City Clerk’s Department link under Licenses and Permits. Owners must mail proof of current rabies vaccination and include a self-addressed stamped envelope along with payment to City Clerk, 95 Pleasant Street, Room 121, Gardner, MA 01440-2630.
